HCA (Hydroxycitric Acid) |
---|
HCA (Hydroxycitric Acid) is one of the most advanced fat reducing nutrients available on the market. Hydroxycitric acid (HCA) is similar to the citric acid found in citrus fruits, but HCA has very different properties. Clinical studies show that HCA can curb appetite, reduce food intake, and inhibit the production of fats and cholesterol.
The highest concentration of HCA is found in the fruit rind of Garcinia Cambogia, a small fruit used in southern India as a food preservative, flavoring spice (curries) and digestive aid. The (-) form of HCA (referring to the manner in which the molecule is structured) is the naturally occurring form of HCA that exhibits these unique properties. HCA exerts it's antiobesity effects through its inhibition of the enzyme ATP-citrate lyase, an enzyme with a critical role in the production and storage of fats. Taken before meals, HCA binds to ATP-citrate lyase and reduces the body's production and storage of fat and cholesterol.
For maximum effectiveness, HCA should be taken 30 to 60 minutes before meals. Trials also show that HCA is 700% more effective when taken 2 to 3 times per day than when taken only once. You can take one or two HCA capsules with Citrichrome caps before meals.
